Postcard Sizes

Postcards templates come in five standard sheet sizes:
4.25” x 5.5”, 4” x 6”, 5” x 7”, 5.5” x 8.5” and 6” x 9”.

Postcard Paper Stock

Postcards printing is not only about the size of paper, but also the type of paper. Postcard templates come in two standard types of paper stock:

• 14 pt C2S is a heavier glossy card stock that is coated on both sides. This paper is excellent for postcards of any kind.
• 14 pt Recycled C2S is the same as the standard 14 pt C2S with 10% post consumer waste and 30% recycled material. It is great for those who want a more eco-friendly option.

Postcard Formats

Postcards templates come in these common formats: 4/0, 4/1-blk, and 4/4. The format is the amount of colors printed on each side. Four color is full color, so in the case of 4/0, you would get a postcards printed in full color on the front and no printing on the back side. To get the inside of your postcards in black only, you would select 4/1-blk. To get full color printed on both sides, you would select 4/4.

Postcard Coatings
